SIA's F1 packages draw healthy response
[SINGAPORE] Demand for Singapore Airlines' (SIA) Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix packages has been healthy, with the carrier eyeing more sales in the coming weeks.
Title sponsor SIA and race promoter Singapore GP (SGP) have introduced F1 packages for the Grand Prix in September, combining an F1 ticket and hotel accommodation for those planning to travel on SIA or its regional wing SilkAir. The packages were first rolled out in April.
"We're quite encouraged with regard to overall response in the market," said Sheldon Hee, SIA's vice-president, marketing communications & development. "We continue to look forward to more sales in the remaining weeks leading up to the race."
