[SINGAPORE] A country's tax policy is a key factor affecting investment in a market. Of greater importance, however, is the consistency of a country's tax policy to investors - an area in which Singapore scored well.
These were some of the findings in Deloitte's 2014 Asia Pacific Tax Complexity Survey Report out yesterday.
The report, a follow-up to its inaugural 2010 report, looks at the key tax trends facing businesses operating in the region; it surveyed over 800 financial and tax professionals in 20 jurisdictions across the Asia-Pacific.
