[SINGAPORE] Japan's University of Tokyo has for the second consecutive time retained its crown in a ranking of Asia's top 100 universities, but universities from China and Singapore are poised to upset this in the coming years.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) was ranked second in the Asia University Rankings 2014 released this morning by Times Higher Education.
