Will M'sia hike rates again before year-end?

WILL Malaysia's central bank be content with a 25 basis points interest rate hike this year or is it gearing for another increase in the next four months?

Economists have mixed views as to whether the overnight policy rate (OPR) will be left unchanged at 3.25 per cent after Thursday's hike - after a lull of about three years - or if the key rate will be pushed to 3.50 per cent before the year is out.
