SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) is giving a special one-off payment of S$500 each to 18,500 Singapore-based employees in celebration of Singapore's Golden Jubilee year.
"SIA is proud to be a Singapore- based company which has spread its wings far and wide. Our success and growth through the years are closely linked to that of our home, Singapore," it said in an announcement to staff, adding that it wanted to thank staff and unions for their support over the years.
