2016 Airshow reaps S$329m for S'pore economy: survey

THE Singapore Airshow 2016, which was held from Feb 16 to 21, brought in nearly S$329 million for the local economy this year as over 130,000 trade and public visitors made their way to the biennial event.
This is according to a survey conducted by Kadence International, which tallied the amount spent by exhibitors, trade attendees, visitors and tourists. This included flights, accommodation, rental and set-up of exhibition spaces, transportation, client entertainment, food and beverages, leisure activities and shopping.
