Asia's largest airshow takes off
[SINGAPORE] Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean opened the fourth edition of the Singapore Airshow, set to be the biggest to date, at an opening ceremony at the Sands Grand Ballroom, Marina Bay Sands, yesterday evening. The return of this biennial event, Asia's largest airshow and one of the most important aerospace and defence exhibitions in the world, cements Singapore's role as a global aviation hub and highlights Asia's rising importance in the global aviation landscape. Singapore Airshow 2014 takes place from Feb 11 to 16 at Changi Exhibition Centre.
