Automated cranes on trial at Pasir Panjang Terminal a fillip for port productivity

THE new automated cranes and vehicles on trial at the Pasir Panjang Terminal can boost productivity by up to 25 per cent, potentially bolstering Singapore's status as a port hub.
Port and terminal operator PSA Singapore unveiled details of these cranes to Minister for Transport Khaw Boon Wan and the media during a briefing at Pasir Panjang Terminal Building 3 on Monday.
