AIRCRAFT manufacturer Boeing is optimistic about South-east Asia's aviation market over the next two decades as it sees no deferrals on plane deliveries thus far, while projecting an annual traffic growth at 6.5 per cent for the region over this period.
This will translate to about 3,750 new planes for the region, totalling at about US$550 billion over the next 20 years, said Dinesh Keskar, senior vice-president for sales in the Asia-Pacific and India for Boeing at a press briefing on Monday.
