COE premiums mostly down in March's second bidding exercise

CERTIFICATE of Entitlement (COE) premiums in Singapore were mixed at the close of Wednesday's bidding exercise.

The COE premium for cars up to 1,600 cc edged up from S$45,000 to S$45,504 while that for cars above 1,600 cc (category B) slid from S$47,604 to S$46,502.

The COE for the open category, which typically tracks category B, also came down from S$48,002 to S$46,667.

Meanwhile, the COE for goods vehicles and buses eased from S$48,890 to S$46,502. The COE for motorcycles was S$6,589, up from S$6,503 previously.
