Delayed COE tender unnerves car dealers
Speculation rife that Monday's Budget will unveil major shift in vehicle ownership policy

THE postponement of the next certificate of entitlement (COE) bidding exercise is giving the car industry the jitters.
The COE tender, the second for February, should have started on Monday and ended on Wednesday, but will now start on Wednesday and conclude on Friday, the Land Transport Authority announced on Friday.
Because Monday is Budget Day, there has been frenzied speculation.
