Flattish growth expected for Singapore airfares, hotels this year: report

AIRFARES and hotel rates in Singapore will see flat to marginal increases this year following years of growth, a report said. A similar picture is painted for the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The forecast is underpinned by factors such as the slowing growth in China, an uncertain global economic outlook as well as stiff competition from budget carriers vis-a-vis full service airlines, the American Express (Amex) Global Business Travel Forecast highlighted.
