Flights to and from Bali, including 2 with Singapore, cancelled over volcanic ash cloud
[SINGAPORE] Flights to and from Bali, including two with Singapore, have been cancelled due to a new volcanic ash cloud from Mount Rinjani in Lombok, media reports said on Tuesday.
Conditions in the vicinity of Denpasar Airport have been labelled "unsafe for flying" by airlines including Jetstar and Virgin, The Australian said. "Jetstar has cancelled all remaining flights on Tuesday to and from Bali following assessment of the latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre," Jetstar said in a statement on its website.
