Jakarta MRT eyes working with private investors for urban renewal

AS WITH many other transportation companies in Indonesia, 2020 was a tough year for MRT Jakarta, the operator of Jakarta's mass rapid transit system.
With Covid-19 movement restrictions imposed for most of the year, passenger traffic collapsed from 88,000 per day to just 24,000 per day.
