LF Logistics opens S$170m logistics hub in Jurong West

LF Logistics on Tuesday opened its largest distribution facility in South-east Asia - a S$170 million, one-million-square-foot logistics hub in Jurong West.

The nine-storey, multi-temperature facility, the largest automated and customs bonded warehouse in Singapore, is equipped with new technologies and product-handling methods; it has an automated storage and retrieval system, a semi-automated pallet shuttle system and put-to-light pick systems, and can store up to 130,000 pallets, at the rate of 550 pallets each hour.

To top it off, the hub has received awards for achievements in "green" building practices, such as the Green Mark Platinum awarded by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
