Maersk to buy container terminals for US$1 bln from Perez y Cia

[COPENHAGEN] Port operator APM Terminals, part of Denmark's A.P. Moller-Maersk said on Friday it has agreed to buy the remaining 39 per cent of Grup Maritim TCB and be sole controlling shareholder of the company which operates 11 container ports.
The enterprise value of the total transaction is approximately US$1 billion, it said.
The port operator said on Sept 8 it has agreed to buy 61 per cent of Grup Maritim TCB from Perez y Cia.
