MORE than a tenth of Malaysia Airlines' (MAS) capacity will be cut this year as the national carrier focuses on more profitable domestic routes and regional ones in Asean and the Asia-Pacific.
More specifically, its domestic and Asean route capacity will be expanded by 6-8 per cent per annum and its Asia-Pacific capacity by 5 per cent in an effort to build hub connectivity in Kuala Lumpur.
