Malaysia's AirAsia X first-quarter net loss widens

[KUALA LUMPUR] Malaysian long-haul budget airline AirAsia X Bhd on Wednesday reported its sixth consecutive quarterly net loss mainly due to foreign exchange losses.
The carrier's net loss for the January-March period jumped to RM125.9 million (S$46.79 million) from from RM11.3 million in the same period last year. Revenue rose 3.46 per cent to RM775.37 million.
