May's first COE bidding exercise ends mixed

    THE first certificate of entitlement (COE) bidding exercise for May ended mixed, with passenger-car premiums rising but those for the other categories falling.

    Category A, for cars below 1,600cc and 130 hp, rose S$589 to S$47,889, while Cat B, for cars above 1,600cc or 130 hp, climbed S$1,408 to S$51,010.
