MPA revokes third bunker supplier's licence
Singapore
THE Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) on Monday revoked the licence of yet another bunker supplier, in a move intended to show the industry its resolve in guarding the integrity of the mass-flow meter (MFM) system of refuelling ships in the port.
Transocean Pte Ltd is the third bunker supplier to have its licence revoked this year. It will no longer be allowed to operate as a bunker supplier and bunker-craft operator in the Port of Singapore, said the MPA on Monday.
