New Shenton Way bus terminal opens in June
[SINGAPORE] Commuters in the Central Business District will be able to enjoy a new bus terminal off Shenton Way with facilities like bicycle parking spaces and barrier-free toilets. It will open on June 25, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said yesterday.
The terminal is located off Shenton Way, next to Bestway Building and directly opposite the Monetary Authority of Singapore building. It will replace the bus terminal in Palmer Road. All 12 bus services operating from the existing terminal will operate from the new one. Commuters will be able to board buses there, which is not allowed at the existing terminal.
