NTU tie-up puts out electric taxi for the tropics

MEET EVA, believed to be the world's first electric taxi designed for the tropics, and the first car ever to be built in Singapore.
The electric vehicle (EV), which took TUM Create - a collaboration between the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Germany's Technische Universität München - some four years to conceptualise and manufacture, was unveiled on Friday.
