Oceanic Group to launch Cartoon Network cruise in Q4
It's aimed at families and leisure passengers; group diversifying to chart new growth areas
IN a bid to ride on the growing cruise sector in the Asia Pacific, cruise management company Oceanic Group will launch a themed cruise ship in the fourth quarter of this year in partnership with media giant Turner.
The 11-deck cruise liner Cartoon Network Wave, which will be docked at the Singapore Cruise Centre, will require an investment in excess of a hundred million US dollars, chief executive of Oceanic Group Daniel Chui told The Business Times.
This comes as Oceanic Group, which offers services such as cruise management, is diversifying to chart new areas of growth what it identifies as a differentiated product.
