Passenger car COE premiums down
CERTIFICATE of Entitlement (COE) premiums for passenger cars continued to sag on Wednesday, the first tender for July, as bookings for new cars slowed down significantly, according to some dealers.
Category A - for cars below 1,600cc and 130hp - slipped S$2,300 to S$58,700, while Cat B - for cars above 1,600cc or 130hp - fell S$6,008 to S$65,501. Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - was S$5,500 lower at S$69,001.
Elsewhere, Cat C - for goods vehicles and buses - dropped S$501 to S$50,001 but Cat D - for motorcycles - rose S$107 to S$6,508.
