PSA to test 22 battery-powered automated-guided vehicles
Singapore
PSA Singapore is bringing on board the first 22 automated guided vehicles (AGVs) that will run on batteries, during live operational trials of the technology at the port of Singapore.
Further investments will go to the 22 AGVs that will be fully battery-powered to operate at zero-emission in the port area. Delivery is expected in the second quarter of 2017. The 22 AGVs will join eight other hybrid-powered AGVs already operating at Pasir Panjang Terminal.
