BUDGET airline Scoot is offering S$200 vaccinated travel lane (VTL) flights between Singapore and Australia, it said in a press statement on Monday (Nov 1).

One-way sales fares for flights from Singapore to Melbourne start from S$199, while flights to Sydney start from S$219, and will be available till Nov 7. Both fares are inclusive of tax.

This press statement comes after quarantine-free travel between Singapore and Australia was announced on Oct 31. Vaccinated Singaporeans will be able to travel to parts of Australia and back without quarantine in either country from Nov 21.

The deal was finalised between Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Rome.

Scoot also announced sales for South Korea, with the cost of a one-way ticket to Incheon International Airport starting from S$200. The sale will be available till Nov 8.

The prices are lower than when VTL flights were first announced back in October.
