SIA looking to store some planes as travel demand evaporates

SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) is studying storing some of its planes - such as its double-decker Airbus A380s - as it cuts capacity from its network amid a dearth of travel demand, The Business Times understands.
With the number of Covid-19 cases spiking globally and countries tightening their borders, airlines worldwide have been slashing capacity, grounding planes - and in some cases - scrambling for state support as they grapple with an unprecedented crisis.
