Singapore Airshow draws to a close with US$12.3b in deals
THE 2016 Singapore Airshow closed its doors on Friday with US$12.3 billion in disclosed deals, down from US$32 billion at the last edition in 2014.
However, there were also 40 deals with undisclosed values this year.
Major deals included six orders for Airbus A350 from Philippine Airlines for over US$1.8 billion, while Boeing saw an order from China's Okay Airways to buy 12 aircraft for US$1.3 billion.
Japan's Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp also signed a letter of intent with US-based Aerolease Aviation for 10 MRJ90 aircraft.
