SINGAPORE and Hungary have penned an air transport agreement (ATA). The agreement, signed on Tuesday, formalises a deal concluded between the two countries in 2011. Under the deal, the airlines of Singapore and Hungary will be able to fly any number of direct services between the two countries, with no restrictions on capacity, frequency, aircraft type and routing schedules.

In addition, both countries' airlines can also operate any number of passenger services with certain restrictions, and up to 21 weekly cargo services via or beyond to any third country.
