TWO government agencies are jointly investing in a new satellite-based system costing some S$8.4 million to enhance search-and-rescue operations within Singapore's maritime waters and air space.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) are collaborating on this latest upgrade of Singapore's search and rescue system.
