Singapore scores hat-trick as world's top maritime city
It is the only one that made it to the top 5 of all 5 categories in the Menon report

SINGAPORE has emerged as the world's leading maritime capital for the third consecutive time, according to the Menon report that was launched at maritime exhibition and conference Sea Asia 2017.
The report, in its third edition, ranked maritime capital cities across the world by ratings on 24 objective indicators and surveyed responses from more than 250 industry specialists across all continents.
Erik W Jakobsen, chairman of Oslo-based Menon Economics, noted at the launch of the report on Wednesday that Singapore was the only maritime capital to be ranked in the top five in the five categories surveyed.
