Small plane crashes in New York's Hudson River, one dead

[NEW YORK] A small plane crashed into the Hudson River in New York on Friday, killing one person believed to be the pilot, police said.
Police and firefighters launched a search of the river at the site of the crash and after several hours divers recovered a body, a spokesman said.
The plane is a World War II-era P-47 Thunderbolt that was due to take part in an air show this weekend, news reports said.
