Smooth sailing on shipping front - for now
CMA CGM continues to see an upturn in its business in China, not impacted by operations in Europe yet
Singapore
FRENCH shipping group CMA CGM continues to see an upturn in its business in China, even as it remains braced for the second half of what its chief financial officer Michel Sirat terms a "W-shaped" recovery.
"If you look at the recovery, it should have the shape of a W. First down in China then up, and then down because of Europe then up. What will be the length of time of this W, I don't know but probably, it will take us to summer to get back to a normal situation," he said in a phone interview.
