UA to launch direct flights from S'pore to San Francisco from June
Singapore
UNITED Airlines (UA) will launch non-stop services between Singapore and its hub in San Francisco from June, making it the only carrier at the moment to serve the US directly from here.
The airline, aiming this service at business travellers, has timed the flights so passengers can connect at San Francisco to flights heading across the US, Canada and Latin America. UA will thus provide a one-stop service between Singapore and more than 40 US cities, including more than 25 that do not have one-stop service from Singapore now, the airline said.
