vPost suspends 2 services due to ‘excessively high freight costs’
SINGPOST’S international address and shipping service vPost has suspended 2 of its services from Aug 24 until further notice, citing “excessively high freight costs” despite the introduction of fuel surcharges.
The 2 suspended services are China sea freight to Singapore and Indonesia air freight to Singapore. All other vPost and SingPost services are unaffected.
In July this year, the postal service company introduced a fuel surcharge of 70 Singapore cents per 500 grams.
