    IF THE race to put electric cars on the road is heating up, the one for electric two-wheelers has only just started.

    There were just two battery-powered motorcycles in Singapore at the start of June, according to the Land Transport Authority, but on Tuesday a new machine that accelerates like a Ferrari joined their ranks.
