YANGZIJIANG Shipbuilding (Holdings) executive chairman Ren Yuanlin, who has been on leave for over three months to assist in a confidential probe in Beijing, is "safe and healthy" and expected to return "before too long", said his son and chief executive Ren Letian.
"My father is well. He is still assisting in the case... it's (the case) complicated. We will make an announcement when he's back home. His absence does not impact the organisation nor the daily running of the company," the younger Mr Ren told The Business Times in a rare interview.
