THIS WEEK'S TOPIC: What has changed the most for your business this year?
Seamon Chan Managing Partner Palm Drive Capital
I think the most prevalent change this year was learning how to build trust across screens. We shifted to doing deals and fundraising remotely. We changed the way we communicate and build relationships. Establishing trust with the people we work with remotely has been a steep learning curve. Furthermore, with staff additions, an influx of interns during the summer and winter months, and being based in different parts of the world, we found new ways of working together to retain our supportive company culture. These changes will have a lasting impact on the way we operate our business.
