THIS WEEK'S TOPIC: How will Singapore's Climate Action Plan impact your organisation's business operations?
Victor Mills Chief Executive Singapore International Chamber of Commerce
EACH of us, as individuals and companies, directly cause climate change by our collective behaviour. Climate change affects everyone on the planet. It is, therefore, our collective responsibility to act now to reduce emissions. Singapore's Climate Action Plan provides a national framework for each of us to think about and adopt. Individuals can reduce food waste and the amount of water and power used. We can recycle and reduce the amount of plastic bags we use. Businesses can further reduce packing materials and recycle them. Changing behaviour starts with each person and each company. The future is in our hands.
