We clearly need a holistic solution to move Singapore towards cleaner transportation. From one angle, a car-lite future should still be a goal, achievable through further investments in the public transport system as well as promoting digitally enabled mobility-as-a-service and car-sharing schemes, and active mobility, such as walking and cycling.
