Funds are net buyers while volumes remain low
MUTUAL funds bought more Singapore stocks than they sold in the three months to July 1, but on relatively low volumes. Net buys came to S$586.3 million based on the top five stocks, compared to net sells of S$483.4 million.
This week we look into the utilities and transport sector. Net buys in the sector totalled some S$73.9 million based on the top five stocks, compared to net sells of S$19 million. The top stock among the buys was SIIC Environment Holdings, with a volume of S$24.3 million. The top stock among the sells was Singapore Post with a volume of S$13.6 million.
