Global mutual funds picking up S'pore stocks

GLOBAL mutual funds were net buyers of Singapore stocks in the three months to Nov 14. The top five stocks saw net buys of S$1.9 billion in aggregate, compared to net sells of S$769.4 million.

However, stocks with market capitalisation of between S$1 billion and S$2 billion saw more sells than buys. Aggregate net sells of the top five stocks in the category came to S$77.6 million, compared to net buys of S$56.5million. Super Group Ltd topped the net sells based on its volume of S$36.2 million. Among net buys, the highest traded was The Straits Trading Company with S$22.5 million.
