INVESTORS have been burnt investing in theme funds through the years, but Pictet Asset Management believes a thematic approach is relevant and rewarding in the long term.
Investors representing US$20 billion in assets agree; this is the amount to date invested in Pictet's stable of thematic funds, most of which have outperformed the MSCI World index since their inception dates.
