Slightly more sells than buys of Singapore stocks

GLOBAL mutual funds sold marginally more stocks than they bought in the three months to Aug 5. Based on aggregate transactions on the top five stocks, there were S$1.05 billion worth of net sells, compared to net buys of S$1 billion.
This week we look into the consumer goods stocks.
Here there were net buys of S$48.7 million based on the top five stocks, and net sells of S$33.4 million. The top stock among the buys was Thai Beverage Public Co, with a volume of S$26.2 million.
