Still more sells than buys in Singapore stocks

GLOBAL mutual funds sold more shares than they bought in Singapore in the three months to Nov 16. Based on the top five stocks, there were net sells of S$1.8 billion compared to net buys of S$567.4 million.

This week we look into the segment of stocks with more than S$2 billion of market capitalisation. Here net sells of S$1.64 billion also far outpaced net buys of S$476.9 million. The top stock among the sells was Singtel with a volume of S$532.2 million. The top stock among the buys was Olam International with a volume of S$141.3 million.
