More buys than sells by funds, but just barely

NET purchases among global mutual funds outpaced net sells for the three months to April 30 - but only just slightly. Based on transactions in the top five stocks, there were buys of S$1.37 billion, compared to sells of S$1.34 billion.
This week we look at the segment of finance stocks excluding Reits. In this segment, net sells worth S$485.3 million outnumbered buys worth S$396.6 million. The top stock among the sells was UOB with a volume of S$265.2 million. The top stock among the buys was Global Logistics Properties Ltd with a volume of S$142.2 million.
