More buys than sells of Singapore stocks

GLOBAL mutual funds were net buyers of Singapore stocks in the three months to March 4. Based on the top five stocks transacted, there were net buys of S$1.07 billion compared to net sells of S$774.5 billion.
This week, we highlight the segment of stocks with market capitalisation of more than S$2 billion. In this segment buyers also outweighed sellers. Based on the top five traded stocks, there were net buys of S$959.6 million compared to net sells of S$685.7 million. The top stock among the buys was DBS Group Holdings with a volume of S$290 million. The top stocks among the sells was Olam International with a volume of S$183.1 million.
