More sells than buys in Singapore stocks
SELLS by global mutual funds outweighed buys in the Singapore stock market in the three months to Jan 28. Based on transactions in the top five stocks, there was S$1.09 billion worth of net sells compared to S$1.02 billion worth of buys.
This week we look into the sector of industrial stocks excluding transportation. Sells also outweighed buys to the tune of S$74 million of net sells versus S$11.7 million of buys, based on the top five stocks. Among the sells, the top stock was Singapore Technologies Engineering with a sell volume of S$35.8 million. The top stock among the buys was Boustead Singapore with a volume of S$4.5 million.
