Reits buck the trend with more buys than sells

GLOBAL mutual funds continued to sell more Singapore stocks than they bought in the three months to Dec 9.

Based on transactions of the top five stocks, net sells came to S$1.39 billion compared to net buys of S$942.3 million.

This week we look at the segment of real estate investment trusts. Here, net buys of S$351.1 million oupaced net sells of S$218 million.

The top stock among the buys was Fortune Real Estate Investment Trust with a volume of S$234.5 million. The top stock among the sells was Mapletree Commercial Trust with a volume of S$57.3 million.
