Sells outpace buys in Singapore stocks

GLOBAL mutual funds were net sellers of Singapore stocks in the three months to April 8. Based on activity in the top five stocks, there were net sells of S$740.7 million, compared to net buys of S$665.3 million.
This week we look into utilities and transportation stocks. In this segment there were net sells of S$160.1 million compared to net buys of S$43.2 million based on transactions in the top five stocks.
The top stock among the sells was SATS Ltd with a volume of S$51.7 million. The top stock among the buys was Hutchison Port Holdings Trust with a volume of S$13.5 million
